HHS seeking Associate Director, Office of Acquisition Management and Policy

Duties

This position is critical to the organization and the OAMP includes three divisions:

• Division of Acquisition Policy and Evaluation (DAPE), which is responsible for planning, developing, and recommending NIH-wide acquisition policies, procedures and practices and for maintaining a continuing staff level review of contracting operations to ensure effective internal controls;
• Division of Financial Advisory Services, which is responsible for providing quality financial advice and services to ensure the appropriate funding and reimbursement of contracts and grants;
• Division of Simplified Acquisition Policy and Services, which is responsible for recommending and establishing NIH-wide procedures and practices in the area of simplified acquisition and the BPA program, and oversight of the NIH Purchase Card Program and the NIH delegated procurement acquisition system.
